Emotional Freedom Technique

Many of us may have heard of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), or Tapping… but did you know that this powerful process can also help with anxiety, phobias and related problems in our animals?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also commonly known as Tapping, is a holistic healing modality that was developed by Gary Craig in the 1990s. It combines elements of acupressure and psychology to address emotional and psychological issues. The main premise of EFT is that emotional distress and physical symptoms are often linked to
Practitioners of EFT use their fingertips to tap on specific acupressure points on the body, primarily around the head and face but also on the upper body and hands. These points are believed to be connected to the body’s energy meridians.

The tapping assists in the release of tapped emotions, restoring balance to othe body’s energy system.

EFT is also known for it’s ability to calm the nervous system. This can help reduce stress, anxiety, and the associated physical symptoms that often accompany these emotional states. EFT has also been used to alleviate physical pain.

No matter what the issue, whether it be physical health, injury or a behavioural issue, EFT tapping can help that animal return to balance and promote healing, comfort and well-being together with resolving behavioral issues and improving performance in training environments.
