The Masterson Method of Bodywork works with the nervous system of the animal, to allow them to release tension they are holding in their body. The practitioner uses very light levels of pressure and very soft gentle movements while following specific responses from the animal.
In contrast to traditional massage, the animal is an active participant in the Masterson Method process. The Masterson Method is something we do with the animal, whereas in massage it is something we do to the animal. This participation and interaction are what makes the Masterson Method so fulfilling for our animals.
